Privacy & Cookie Policy
This policy describes how Gander Ecommerce Solutions (P) Ltd. handles information in DesiMixTape. For privacy requests, contact ganderecom@gmail.com.
Information processed
We process your email, authentication credentials in protected form, optional display name, account identifiers and sessions. The app processes the content you submit to features you use: prompts and generation settings, lyrics and scripts, uploaded audio, video and graphics, project arrangements including clip placement, logos and watermarks, mixing-assistant requests, saved track metadata, favourites and account preferences. Infrastructure providers also process technical data such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and error logs.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, generate or find audio, maintain your library, respond to requests, diagnose failures and protect the service. Do not include sensitive personal information or confidential material in music prompts.
Providers and international processing
We use the following providers, each of which receives only the data needed for the feature you request, under its own terms and privacy policy, and possibly outside your country. Cloudflare delivers the website and routes app requests. Railway hosts the application, database, authentication service and private object storage for your media and exports. Replicate processes music prompts and generation settings, and receives source recordings through temporary access links when you request processing of an existing recording. ElevenLabs processes lyrics, musical direction, generation settings and, for edits or scoring, the recording or footage you submit. Sarvam processes voiceover scripts, language choices and speech recordings you submit for transcription or translation. Runway processes video scene descriptions and generation settings. Microsoft Azure Foundry processes text-writing, prompt-improvement, creative-agent, mixing-assistant and marketplace-suggestion requests in the US, together with the brief, arrangement settings or media names needed for the feature, never the media files themselves. If you manually select Claude, Anthropic or OpenRouter processes those text requests under its own terms; processing may occur outside India. Apify and DeepWeb process search queries for the discovery feature. Jamendo processes catalogue searches and supplies discovery and demonstration recordings. Razorpay processes payments; we store order and payment identifiers, purchased credits, amounts and payment status, not card credentials. Resend delivers account emails such as verification links and reviewer invitations. Generated and uploaded media is saved in private storage on Railway. Your browser connects to media providers directly when loading their media. We will update this list when a provider is added or replaced.
Studio processing
Where enabled, we process uploaded audio, video, graphics and speech, lyrics, brand briefs, timelines and arrangements, versions, comments, review decisions and reviewer email addresses to provide requested project features. Providers named above receive the parts of that content their feature needs, through temporary access links where a file must be sent. Media remains in private storage; authorised project members may access project media. Resend sends reviewer invitations only when the owner explicitly invites a reviewer.
Cookies and browser storage
Authentication cookies keep you signed in, and browser storage remembers the selected theme. Hosting and security systems may use technical cookies. Blocking essential storage can prevent login. You can sign out and clear site data in your browser. This notice does not treat essential storage as permission for advertising tracking.
Retention and deletion
Account and library records are retained to provide your account until removed or no longer needed, subject to legitimate security, legal and operational requirements. Provider logs, backups and generated files follow separate retention cycles; deleting a library entry does not necessarily delete a provider-hosted file immediately. Studio media deletion queues removal from private storage with retries for temporary failures. Abandoned uploads and temporary processing material expire after seven days. Payment records required for legal obligations are retained separately. We do not promise permanent storage of generated audio.
Your choices and requests
Email ganderecom@gmail.com from your registered address to request access, correction, a copy of your data or account deletion, or to raise a privacy complaint. We may verify your identity and explain any information we must retain. Account deletion is currently handled by support, not an automated in-app control. You may also clear local browser storage at any time.
Security, children and changes
We use authentication and access controls, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. DesiMixTape accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or over. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information. We will update this policy when material processing practices change.
